Several years of research and development, a close collaboration with its customers and a systematic validation of the solution through independants laboratories allowed RC LUX to identify bacteriological factors of contamination in the Point Of Use.
While adopting a comprehensive and global approach of the POU, the Behring™ solution developped by RC LUX is a breakthrough in conventional treatment systems: ![]()  The Wall-mounted secure tap and disinfection kits from Behring™ brings to the point of consumption, from the first drop and on a permanent and controlled basis, a water quality which meets the most stringent international standards. The technology has been validated with an independant laboratory and then on field in real conditions. It is the first solution on the market able to provide this level of bacteriological safety, even after a carbon filter. It is protected by several patents and a tardemark. For a minimal cost and very little maintenance, RC LUX offers you a solution to secure your Points Of Use with no equivalent on the market.
The development of Behringâ„¢ technology required several years of R&D between RC LUX and many referral laboratories like Noso.Co.Tech laboratory from Lyon Pharmacy University (France), Bacteriology Laboratory of Grenoble University, Hygiene Laboratory of Paris (France) and CSTB laboratory. More than 1200 bacteriological analysis and microscop caracterization have been made to validate its efficiency against bacterias strains known for their ability to create resistants biofilms. These bacterias strains are also known for their role in nosocomial infections (Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Escherischia coli, Legionnella pneumophilia).  We used two testing ways: Inoculum tests in laboratory:  Behringâ„¢ products have been tested by independant laboratory Noso.Co.Tech from Lyon Pharmacy University according to NSF 55 class A and EN 14897 class disinfection (performance >40mJ/cm²). Field tests: Unlike conventional systems which are only validated by inoculum tests in laboratories, Behringâ„¢ solution has been tested by our customers, leaders on their markets, in field conditions. Daily samples have been made to verify the system efficiency:  ![]() Â
Initailly developped to secure the quality of food aimed to NASA astronauts, the HACCP approach goal is to identify critical points in food supply chain. This methodology have shown its efficiency, up to a point that it is now used to elaborate rules, nationals and internationals standards within this field. RC LUX have traced his approach on this methodology to develop Behring™ solution, which make possible to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the issue, both regarding bacteriological and technical aspects. The following steps have been studied for a POU-tailored solution: - Description of the product and its filed of use - Identification of the criticals points et associated risks description - Definition of the goals - Definition of the control systems  These steps allowed to define the following risks and to give an accurate and satisfaying answer:  ![]()   |
